On Friday, my guiding teacher administered the weekly spelling test. The first word was "crunched." One child spelled "cunt."
This was two days after a parent sent in a note, angry that her child had found the letters "f" "u" "k" "e" "d" strung together on a homework word search. The teacher had to ask, why does her second grader know that word?
Sigh. They grow up so fast.
